Fingers Crossed

I’m spending my night preparing.  Not really for anything but more for the potential of something.  And because who wouldn’t want to be on their A game when it counts the most?  And because who wouldn’t want to make their boss proud?

But it all comes at a potential cost.

Things go well and there’s a loss.  Things don’t go well and there’s a loss.  But either way there’s also a win.

And I know I’m being vague but I don’t want to jinx myself and I don’t want to put more pressure on myself than needs to be there.  And I can’t think of anything else tonight.

So, with that, let’s go fingers crossed.
