30 Day Writing Challenge - Day 1 - Five Strange Facts

I’ve really been enjoying writing this blog every day and while I haven’t been short of something to say (so far!), I decided I wanted to try a 30 day writing challenge to help me stay full of topics and really making blogging a daily habit.  I found a couple challenges online and merged parts of them to create my 30 day challenge.  There’s still some cheesy and dumb topics, but that’s part of what will make this fun.  Here is my 30 day blog challenge:

1) Five strange facts about you
2) A photo of something you ate today.
3) Your idea of the perfect first date.
4) Your favorite photograph of your best friend.
5) A photo of yourself two years ago.
6) Five things you couldn't possibly live without
7) Your dream wedding.
8) A song to match your mood.
9) A photo of item you last purchased.
10) A photo of our favorite place to eat.
11) What’s in your makeup bag?
12) A photograph of the town you live in.
13) Your favorite musician and why?
14) A TV show you’re currently addicted to.
15) Something you don’t leave the house without.
16) A scar you have and its story
17) A photo of you and your family.
18) Something you crave a lot.
19) Another picture of yourself.
20) The meaning behind your blog name.
21) A photo of something that makes you happy
22) A letter to someone who has hurt you recently.
23) A moment you wish you could relive
24) A photo of something that means a lot to you.
25) What’s in your purse?
26) A photo of somewhere you’ve been to.
27) A recipe
28) A photo of you taken over ten years ago
29) Something you could never get tired of doing.
30) A photograph of yourself today + three good things that have happened in the past 30 days

And with that, here is Day 1 - Five Strange Facts About You:

  1. I received a 4 year degree in a matter of 2 years.  (No, I do not recommend this unless you want to be totally overworked and exhausted upon completion).
  2. After dislocating my knee cap a few years ago, I was put on a long, hard board and slid through an Emergency Exit on the Amtrack Train I had been riding when it happened.
  3. I went to music school and now hardly sing or play guitar anymore.  (I think this may be more sad than strange...)
  4. I lived in the same house from the time I was a year and a half until I was 18.  Since then, I have lived in at least 8 different places (apartments, dorms, etc) over the course of 5 years.  3 of those places have been since I moved to LA a year and a half ago...
  5. I manage bands.  This is more of a fun, awesome fact (as well as my career) but not everyone does it or gets it, so to some, this may be strange.

The band I manage, The Lumineers, live in San Diego in December
